The time has come to let the "QUIET COMPANY" inform your office about the services I have been providing various communities for many years.

I would first like to introduce myself to you. My name is Arthur P. Jones, I am the President of Arthur P Jones and Associates, Inc. and I have been a Deputy Tax Collector for many communities in The Commonwealth for almost fifty years. I was chosen on April 16,1992 by the Registry of Motor Vehicles to be one of the individuals selected as a Pilot Office for On-line Access to the Non-Renewal program. We were also the beta site for electronic data transfer and were the only office in the Commonwealth to have this access! This program is now in full swing and is extremely beneficial to all Municipalities.

The RMV has opened a Full Service Branch in Easthampton.

I operate a modern office with state of the art equipment, custom software, and I continue to provide hardware  to some of our communities whereby they can connect to us online via our WAN at any time of the day or at only specific times as their situation warrants. The connection to the WAN is an option that we have found to be extremely beneficial to both the municipality and the taxpayer. It alleviates bottleneck, phone calls and frustration. This database connection is "real time", The taxpayer and your office have an accurate account of the present status of their account. I am located on Route 141 close to Route 91, Route 9, Routes 5 &10, and the Massachusetts Turnpike, thereby allowing your taxpayers easy access to my office. Also as a further convenience I offer the taxpayers the option of CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS through Unibank, if appropriate, and have been doing this for over twenty years. Other services I offer are the printing of Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Bills, Real Estate, Personal Property and Water Sewer bills. These are Laser bills, color coded by calendar year, with or without scan-lines and they can be CASS certified and I have the ability to complete a duplicate detection process which will allow me to place more than one bill in an envelope. I will not limit this process to Motor Vehicle Excise Bills, I also will print the Demands and Warrants with the interest and appropriate fees calculated for your Municipality. The Municipality retains all fees (demand and warrant) to this point. Commitment sheets are Laser printed either in Landscape or Portrait orientation one sided or Duplex.

I will also complete any and all connections and paperwork necessary for the Inquiry, Mark, and Clear process for Motor Vehicle Excise and Parking violations as required for the Registry of Motor Vehicles as well as acquisition of the original data for motor vehicle excise commitments.

The office of Arthur P.Jones and Associates,Inc. will provide to your municipality the above services and shall maintain the necessary and appropriate workman's compensation and general liability insurance and shall provide proof of such to your municipality initially and at any time as requested by you.

** This insurance applies to all personnel who serve warrants for your municipality.

The services we offer are not all-inclusive or exclusive and some are subject to negotiation, additions, and/or deletions as appropriate and agreed upon by all parties involved. I attempt to tailor my services to your needs as much as possible.

As you know most deputy collectors offer new and expanded services that deal with technology and services offered to your municipality. Most if not all of them can meet your needs in this endeavor, but the main service we offer that others may not provide is the personal touch to your office. I have provided you a list of Municipalities (References) that we presently represent. Some of the listed Municipalities switched to and have remained with us, not necessarily due to the services I provide, but also because the Deputy you choose is an extension of your office and as such reflects the image you require. I collect the outstanding debts and provide a service to your office that is as customized to your requirements as possible.
